Hotels.com had been running the same “Captain Obvious” campaign for years, and was hungry to break into culture beyond it. And what better place to start than the Big Game?
Did you know that the winning city of the Super Bowl experiences a baby boom nine months later? If those babies are going to be made, why not in Hotels.com hotel rooms? We launched a campaign to give away these rooms to fans of the winning team with some pretty out-of-pocket social, successfully building the Hotels.com brand beyond Captain Obvious.
