It started with a simple discovery. In order for the coin “toss” at the beginning of a football game to count, it technically has to flip. So why do we still call it a coin toss? From there, we partnered football power couple Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk to lead our charge to officially rename this pivotal football tradition.
This campaign launched from all fronts: a hero video, an online petition, a pseudo-documentary about the history of the coin flip, a real Coin Flip coin made by Highland Mint themselves, influencer extensions with king of flips Cam Skattebo. When we said we were serious, we meant it.
